SF Carnival 2008!

Oi!

SF Carnival was amazing! This was my first time in the parade and am hooked. It also happened to be the 30th anniversary so 750,000 people came out to show their love. With weeks of practice and late nights at Raffe's house making our costumes, it all came together! Special thanks to Raffaella for getting our asses in gear and making it a super fun time. You're da bomb! Much love to the group and my bff Lani, wouldn't have been the same with out you.

First Weekend in London

The first couple of weeks I was here, the weather was so beautiful. Sunny everyday and warm (20-25 C or 71-81 F)...and it stays warm at night so no jacket SF'ers!
Hyde Park is not too far from where I am living; thats me in front of the most amazing purple flowers, they were everywhere. People were paddle boating on the lake, playing futbol and just hanging out sun bathing.
On a different day, my poor co-worker Simon played tourist guide (btw, everyone in London is named Paul, Simon or Ian). We walked to Westminster, saw Big Ben of course and the London Bridge which crosses the Thames River. I also had the pleasure of going on the London Eye with a group from work. Its a massive ferris wheel that holds 20 or so people in each glass capsule (you can see the white circle in the pic. If you are afraid of heights, might not the best idea, however the views are sublime.

Foie Gras, tuna tar tar, triple cream brie...you can't get much better than that. Pre-London night out in SF. Did the bar tender take this photo, or was it the high end trannie who offered me her..his...I mean her seat?

Super fun night. My new favorite place!
