Last weekend Karine was visiting Europe for work so we met in Paris at Marianne's house, after her quick stop in London. Marianne lives 15 mins walking from the Louvre and was so nice to let us stay; thank you! We took a boat ride down the Seine and it was nice to see all of the architecture as we passed by the Museo de Orsey and under the many bridges which have such detailed sculptures. There were lots of house boats and also boats that were bars and restaurants...you can't get much closer to the water than that. If anyone wants a good business idea, restaurant/bar boat! And of course we spent at least half of our time eating until midnight and in search of the perfect chocolate eclair.
