Inside London: Brazil in London

With the Brazil Carnival in London going on this weekend, it was only fitting Nicole and I check out Guanabara, a Brazilian bar in London. Nicole took her very first samba lesson!

May 1, 2010 - Nicole gets married
Feb 2010 - First time in Asia
October 5 - First time in Africa (went to Morocco)
September 7 - First time in Scotland and at a 14 person wedding
August 30-31 - First time parading in Notting Hill Carnaval!
July 5 - First time to Egypt without leaving London: National British Museum
May - I've actually been in London for a few weeks with out traveling!
Feb 2 - Survived worst snow fall in 20 years of London History
Dec 18-Jan 3 - 2 weeks at home and I am still alive!
December 16th - Authentic British Food at Christmas with some story telling
November 27th - American Thanksgiving in London
September 3rd - Zorba Dancing World Record Holder!
August 23rd - 29 again
August 15 - Took a massive ferry from Mykonos to ATH. Watch the Olymics...didn't know speed walking was an olymic sport.
August 9th - Arrived in one of the most beautiful places on earth...Santorini
July 17-21 - swept away by the beauty of Sardinia, Italy
June 29th - Spain wins EuroCup v. Germany, 1-0
June 11th - First Spanish class
June 2nd - First visit to Lisbon, Portugal
May 30th - Off to Paris for the weekend!
May 29th - Delivery of my sea shipment - note: if you think you may have under packed, think again, you brought way too much stuff! Do I really need 23 pairs of shoes here.
May 25th - SF Carnival - 30 year anniversary with 750,000 people. Off the hook! Thanks Raffe!
May 1st - Official start date in the office!
April 30th - Fly to London with Visa in hand! 2 bags with max weight being 70lbs each. Weigh in at airport: 65lbs and 67lbs...I knew I could fit one more lotion in the bag!
2.5 months - Time it takes to open a bank account! The banks are slower than the government...go figure.
April 7th - Shipment of my belongings by sea to London
April 1st - Date I started paying rent in my new flat
2 months! - Time it takes to get a UK Visa
